Check out our Weekly Wildthings page, we are hosting a weekly session for homeschoolers with Pete. It runs for a whole day and has a focus of field trips every week followed by fun games, craft, website and movie making for older kids. Pete is a trained teacher who enjoys working without the limitations of school. For us it gives my partner and I a day to work together and we know the kids are having fun and learning lots.
Amazingly we only have a few spots left, no cabins are available, so if you have booked in and are requiring a cabin so sorry but they have been booked out, heaps of camping sites are available. Anyone else wishing to join the camp - camping only. Cheers Kylie
Wow the camp is already half booked out, so those of you that made tentative bookings get back to me asap. I have added a booking form, a slight oversight on my behalf, to make it easier to book in. Cheers Kylie
We have had a good level of interest already which is great. Probably havn't made it clear the the camp is aimed at primary level children, but at the same time they are the kind of activities all age groups can particpate in and get something out of, including parents. So if you have older ones(older than 14) they are welcome to come and as they require less supervision and may not join in the activities and could perhaps help with younger kids they will not be charged.
Wow stacks of things happening already, thanks heaps to everyone organising stuff, what a great thing we have happening down here.
Busy working on Wilson's Prom Wildthings camp, we are going to run a bit of pilot camp and see how it goes. It will be short notice with camp happening early Feb but that could be good for our first one. Stay posted as I plan on getting some stuff up on website by Monday. Yay, finally got website out to the contacts I have and have recieved some nice feedback, thankyou ladies.
Ahh blogging, totally new to it but thought it may be good to have a blog for this website. Perhaps we'll blog our activities that come through this site and perhaps some of our fellow local homeschoolers will create a blog here too. Bye for now, trying to fix up site so I can get it out there.
